ESTA Visa Application for UK Citizens

The ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorzation)  Visa Application is an online application on the US Customs and Border Protection website (CBP). It’s used to pre-screen all travelers visiting the United States of America. To determine if they are eligible, the form asks several questions, which you have to answer truthfully.

All British citizens who travel from the United Kingdom to the United States must fill out an ESTA UK application. It will perform security screening to ensure that the US avoids potential hazards.

We check your ESTA Visa on arrival in the US via air, land, and sea. After applying to the ESTA application, you can travel to the United States.

The ESTA does NOT automatically grant entry or stay. The border guard will make the final decision.

ESTA Visa Requirements for UK Citizens

Multiple databases will verify that everyone who arrives in the United States from a country without a visa waiver is authentic. The ESTA Visa Waiver Program VWP approved will be valid for two years, as opposed to the ETIAS system, which is suitable for three years.

An approved ESTA Visa will permit multiple entries to the United States before expiration. You only need a valid travel document to apply online for Electronic System for Travel Authorization. The process is simple and takes less than 15 minutes. You will not need to visit the embassy or consulate in London to acquire travel authorization. ESTA requires personal information, just like other visa waivers. This includes full name, date and contact information. Your ESTA Visa Waiver  application should include:

  • A biometric passport valid for at most three months, issued by their country
  • Visa waiver fee can be paid by credit/debit card
  • Valid e-mail for confirmation/rejection of ESTA

Cancellation or Denial of your ESTA Application

You must provide the accurate and correct information when you apply for a Visa or ESTA. If there are any errors or discrepancies between the application form information and the passport, the traveller will not be eligible for an ESTA Visa Waiver Program VWP.
All permanent citizens of UK must provide the following information when filling out ESTA applications:

  • Safety
  • Health
  • Drug use

UK citizens will also need to answer questions regarding travel to conflict zones, previous trips, and plans for visiting the US. ESTA applicants will need valid passports and must complete the application with the correct information. British citizens may not be eligible for a visa waiver in these Cases:

  • A British citizen who mistakes their passport details will not be able to obtain the ESTA application. An error in the details of a passport can lead to rejection or delay.
  • British citizens who threaten travellers or nationals will be denied entry to the US.
  • The embassy or consulate in London can refuse to grant an ESTA Visa waiver to a British applicant infected with certain diseases
  • If the ESTA system suspects that the British applicant’s information is unreliable or inaccurate, it may deny a travel permit

Is an ESTA the same as a US visa?

ESTA is not a visa. An ESTA registration does not meet the legal requirements of the US regarding visas. Travellers who possess a valid visa for the US may travel there on that visa for the purpose for which it was issued. Travellers with valid visas do not need to register for an additional ESTA Visa authorisation. Travellers should be aware that neither a valid US visa nor an ESTA “visa” guarantees admission to the US. Be aware, that if your intentions for traveling to the USA is to start working and find a job, your application will be denied. However you can find remote work USA ESTA and see how it works.
